RULES OF THE ROOM

How the Lowndes County Commission meets

When. Second Monday at 10:00 AM and fourth Monday at 6:00 PM. Both at the Charles Smith Annex in Hayneville.
Agenda deadline. Items must be submitted to the Commission Office by noon on the Thursday before the meeting. If you want a topic on the agenda, the clock starts on Friday.
Public comment. The Chair sets the public-comment window. Arrive early and sign in.
What works. Standing-room attendance, signed letters from local addresses, and questions the commissioners have to answer on the record. Recording is permitted.
